OX Super Market Launch Checklist


Step 1: Approval & Agreement

  • ☐ Sub-Franchisee application submitted to Master Franchisee.
  • ☐ Background check & financial verification.
  • ☐ Approval by OX Franchisor.
  • ☐ Sub-Franchise Agreement signed (defining investment, margins, obligations).

Step 2: Site Finalization

  • ☐ Location identified within cluster territory.

  • ☐ Site survey by Master Franchisee + OX team.

  • ☐ Minimum requirements checked:

    • Size: 800–1500 sq. ft.
    • Storage space available.
    • Power backup & water facility.
    • Parking or easy access for customers.
  • ☐ Final OX approval for site.


Step 3: Store Setup

  • ☐ Lease/rent agreement signed.
  • ☐ Store layout prepared as per OX design guidelines.
  • ☐ Branding installed: logo boards, signage, in-store graphics.
  • ☐ Fixtures & interiors: racks, shelves, billing counter, freezer/fridge placement.

Step 4: Equipment Installation

  • ☐ POS system integrated with OX Platform.
  • ☐ Barcode scanners, weighing machines installed.
  • ☐ Freezers & refrigerators delivered.
  • ☐ CCTV & security setup.
  • ☐ Storage racks & stock room organized.

Step 5: Staff Recruitment & Training

  • ☐ 3–5 staff recruited (cashier, floor assistants, stock handler).

  • ☐ Training provided by OX team:

    • POS billing & inventory system.
    • Customer service standards.
    • Hygiene & product handling.
    • Loyalty program / OX wallet usage.
  • ☐ Uniforms & grooming standards issued.


Step 6: Supply Chain Integration

  • ☐ Sub-Franchisee linked to OX Park warehouse.
  • ☐ Ordering process activated through OX Platform.
  • ☐ Initial stock order placed (₹5–10 lakhs value).
  • ☐ Trial delivery run completed to check logistics.

Step 7: Compliance & Audit

  • ☐ Health & safety compliance check.
  • ☐ Fire extinguisher & first-aid kit placed.
  • ☐ OX audit on store branding, equipment, and POS readiness.
  • ☐ Final "Go-Live" approval from OX Franchisor.

Step 8: Marketing & Pre-Launch

  • ☐ OX app & social media announcement scheduled.
  • ☐ Local marketing campaign: flyers, banners, WhatsApp promotions.
  • ☐ Special pre-launch offers planned (e.g., 5% discount on essentials).
  • ☐ Soft opening with local influencers / community leaders invited.

Step 9: Launch Day

  • ☐ Store opens with full stock & standardized pricing.
  • ☐ OX support team present for smooth operations.
  • ☐ Digital payments & loyalty program tested live.
  • ☐ Customer feedback collected for first week.

Step 10: Post-Launch Monitoring

  • ☐ Daily sales & stock auto-synced to OX platform.
  • ☐ Weekly review with Master Franchisee on sales & challenges.
  • ☐ Monthly audit by OX Franchisor (brand, hygiene, inventory).
  • ☐ Continuous staff training & promotions rollout.

With this checklist:

  • Sub-Franchisee can launch smoothly without missing critical steps.
  • Master Franchisee can replicate the process across the cluster.
  • OX ensures uniform brand experience & pricing across all supermarkets.
